disk clone multibootable systems. moving existing multibootable system from one disk to another. Winxp+Win7+Linux

Windows:
1, use ghost to clone windows, then windows can boot normally. and multi bookable is ok.
Linux:
1, use live linux to boot and partition new disk as the same as old one.
2, mount two disk and copy all files to new one.
use cp * des -r -p
3, update devices.map file and the fstab file with hard drive name and uuid of the new disk. use ‘blkid’ to list all uuid of the partition.
4, update grub if doesn’t boot, live linux and do this:
1), boot to live linux
2), mount partition / to /mnt
3), mount boot partition to /mnt/boot if boot is in a separate partition.
4), mount -o bind /dev /mnt/dev
5), mount -o bind /proc /mnt/proc
6), chroot /mnt
7), install grub by using ‘grub-install’ or use this:
grub
root (hd0,2) which the (hd0, 2) third partition on disk 0 is the boot partition.
setup (hd0)
